jleppig made a good suggestion, I am going to get Keller instead of Ralston and move Frei to the bench. I really already had more midfield depth than I needed and who knows how fit Ralston is yet.

I hope that works out for you. I toyed with the idea of adding Keller, but after seeing that a keeper only gets 2 points per save and only 20 for a clean sheet, I decided to go with an extra midfielder this week. I took your advice about getting rid of Alonso. I'm just stuck now trying to find a good midfielder. Mids have more than twice as many assists and get 50% more points from them than fwds.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think of going 3-5-2 this week? Any thoughts on a promising mid for $393K? I was looking at New England since the bookies have them as the favorite. RSL is favored even more over KC.
I like to keep three up top if I can. Forwards generally get points more consistently than midfielders. But you can rack up some huge points if you hit on your midfielders.
ReplyDeleteI'd tentatively recommend Ralston in the mid-300's, but who knows how much he'll play. I don't really like anyone right in that ball park, there are good additions cheaper (Pappa) and more expensive (Morales, DeRo).
